Size guide: Racing suits

How to measure

Measure over light underwear with a soft tape measure, standing upright. Chest: around the fullest part. Waist: around the natural waistline. Pelvis: around the widest part of the hips. Also note your height and weight. Pick the size that matches most of your measurements; height and chest are the most important for a racing suit.

How to measure (Alpinestars): Chest – around the fullest part, under the armpits, tape horizontal. Waist – natural waist line, in line with the navel. Hip – fullest part, about 20 cm below waist line. Thigh – just below the crotch. Inner leg – crotch to bottom of leg. Outer arm – shoulder (humerus) to wrist. Height – floor to top of head.

Note: Alpinestars publishes two slightly different height scales.
