Karting suits from Alpinestars, Sparco and OMP for every type of driver: FIA 8877-2022 and CIK-FIA homologated race suits for competition, plus indoor and rain suits for leisure karting and training, in adult and kids' sizes. Selected by Worldkarts NV in Kortrijk, Belgium.
For rental and indoor karting, a durable suit designed for recreational use, such as the Alpinestars Kart Indoor, is usually enough. If you race in a licensed championship, you need a homologated suit, so always check the regulations of your series. Then choose the fit: measure your chest, waist and hips (wearing your rib protector if you use one) and compare the result with the brand's size chart.
The current FIA standard for karting protective clothing. Suits are approved as Grade 1 or Grade 2, which indicates the level of abrasion protection. Karting overalls approved to FIA 8877-2022 become compulsory in FIA competitions from 1 January 2030.
The previous standard. Level 2 suits remain accepted in FIA competitions during the useful life shown on their label, but not beyond 31 December 2029. National championships can apply their own rules. The official lists are published on fiakarting.com.
Many models are available in both adult and kids' versions. Browse the full Karting Junior range.
Since 1 January 2025, FIA 8877-2022 gloves and shoes are mandatory in FIA championships and international karting events. Combine your suit with karting gloves, karting shoes and a karting helmet.
